This is the 3rd B&W 5th wheel rail kit I have purchased and I would say this one I am disappointed with. The description said it would fit my 2007 Chevy 2500HD Classic and it did but the predrilled holes on both brackets did not line up with the rear rail. I had to drill my own holes in the brackets. The front holes and rail lined up the way it should. I took away one star for this. Great product just didn't fit perfectly like the others I have purchased.
Installed this in the garage without dropping the tank and without a lift. HOWEVER, it was a nightmare. The video of course leaves out the driver side front carriage bolts. Best way is to remove the spare and wedge yourself somewhere around the pumpkin of the rear axle. Forget about the torque specs on the carriage bolts, you won’t be able to get a socket on the nut and between the frame. Once you limber up enough to become a contortionist, it’s not too bad. Do yourself a favor and buy an 18 inch or longer ratcheting 3/4 inch or 19mm wrench. Amazon has them cheap enough. Good luck you will need it.

Glad you got it installed, Jake! And I hear you about the install not being easy. This is definitely not for the faint of heart. Now that you have the rails and brackets installed, what kind of hitch will you be using? And what will you be towing?
I bought this kit because it looked like the strongest and best engineered and most effective ...this has proved true. I have no experience and I put this on our truck on the ground and without taking the wheels off. There were holes in the bed already but this was a mixed blessing. I can't say it wasn't fiddly, it was especially at the front end of the bracket trying to fit and tighten bolts blind above the fuel tank (I didn't have to remove it). I tightened down and loosened the whole set up a couple of times (more a truck problem really) but eventually it all felt snug to the chassis and secure (most importantly). There was only one place I intervened with a correct thickness block of hardwood (see pic which goes all the way up under the bracket against the chassis, a shim if you will, (I'd have preferred a steel or maybe resin block but didn't have any – I think the manufacturer should consider this?) – at least the wood would compress a bit when tightening. I had to use the secondary hole on the bracket on the driver side (see pic) because of the fuel tank. When I tightened up the driver side bracket (and no matter how I did it) it lifted the bracket off the chassis at the front which didn't look or feel as good as the other side (which was much easier to attach using the preferred hole). The shim seemed to help equalise the pressure along the whole of the bracket and has stayed firm since. Anyway, I took my time and the unit has done everything I'd hoped for – you've reminded me that I need to check all the bolts again! Anyway, thanks :)
Great product. However, frame brackets started to rust right away. I don’t live in a state that uses salt on the roads, and I wash my truck often. It’s the one thing that keeps me from rating it a 5.
Always the best when I order from you. I'll be installing it this weekend. And putting it to the test on Monday. First b&w product and this this already looks and feel like a beast. Not even installed yet.

Glad you like it, John! B&W definitely makes good stuff and I am sure you will be very happy with it! : ) What kind of hitch are you using? It looked like you ordered some parts for a Demco Hijacker a while back and was curious if you are still using that or not.
Very well built, pretty cut and dry install, all except for the bolts that are located over the fuel tank, those 2 are a real trick to get too. But the best part was the people I ordered it from etrailer.com is a great company

Great purchase from etrailer, as usual. Free shipping on items that total 90lbs., thanks! The B&K kit is very good, heavy duty, very strong. Should do the job well. Dinged one star because for my 2006 Duramax 3200 required lowering the gas tank of which there was no mention in any video or description. Video showed installation on passenger side, that was easy. Driver's side not so much. I got everything hooked up with the exception of the two bolts that go through the bed on rear-driver's side. Had to take it to my mechanic to finish up (did not want to mess with the gas tank). Other than that, all good.

Product is great very heavy duty, reasonably easy installation except for two bolts above gas tank which required lowering the tank. Over 10K on the road and working great.
Received my hitch and mounting rails today. Still in the boxes

My hitch has worked great
This rail kit has served me well. I have put 3500 miles on it since installing it. Easy to take the 5th wheel hitch on and off. My only issue was during installation where I thought the instructions should have indicated larger clearance holes in the truck bed. This makes the install easier and does not compromise integrity.
I use it under a b&w 16k hitch,everything works well.
Did not have to drill my frame to install.
Once fitted to my hitch, instalation of the hitch is easy.
Only complaint I have is no spacers on the u bolts between the frame and the rails where the rails don't fit the frame.

The online site was easy to navigate. The shipment that I ordered was delivered promptly, and in good condition. I just received the shipment today, prior to replying with this review. According to the bill of lading and the package labels, I am satisfied that these are the correct parts for my B&W 5th wheel hitch application.
The rails fit my truck perfectly. When I receive the package there was some slight damage to the package and one U-boat was missing. I called and they immediately shipped a replacement bolt out great service. Customer service was outstanding I had some questions on the installation having a little difficulty getting a bolt and nut installed they walked me through it and made it very easy to understand and complete the installation. They followed up several weeks later to make sure I didn’t have any issues with the rails or the installation. That’s customer service at its best.
My experience with you was fantastic, from shipping to installation. All parts were in the packages with instructions.

The installation kit was missing 5 washers, I had to find replacements because I need to get the kit installed to pick up our 5th wheel. So I couldn’t wait for you to send 5 washers. Other than that, it was easy to install and had good directions. It is well made and should work well.
It wasn’t to bad to do. The hardest part was to get the u-bolt nuts and washers on. Didn’t have any issues drilling the holes instructions were great on where to place the rails to mark the holes. Was missing a nut for the big bolts but had some laying around that I could use.
Fit great! Bolted right onto our truck frame and matched up perfect with our hitch.
Product is excellent. I was disappointed in how long it took to get 'in stock' items shipped. Granted , it was a large heavy item. Probably ran in to the supply chain/driver shortage issue. Still will purchase from etrailer in the future.
High quality at every point paint perfect due to proper boxing heavy stuff usually have parts poking out from Shipping. All American made including steel . Definitely recommend

So I my initial review is not accurate and its because Im an idiot and didnt pay attention to the instructions. I drilled the the holes for the bolts on the rear rail in the wrong locations... Pay attention to bolt hole location with in the instructions, unlike I did! 5 star review of product and service from etrailer!
